Our Journey
The Foundation
Janata Ship Builders was established with a vision to revolutionize the maritime sector in Bangladesh. Starting as a specialized design and repair unit, we laid the groundwork for precision engineering on the banks of the Shitalakshya River.
Expanding Horizons
Recognizing the national need for infrastructure, we expanded into Dredger Manufacturing. We successfully delivered our first fleet of Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD), supporting the country’s vital river dredging projects.
Technical Excellence
We reached a milestone of 60+ successful projects and achieved full membership in the Association of Export Oriented Shipbuilding Industries of Bangladesh (APSB), solidifying our status as a Tier-1 shipyard.
